Yep, title says it all. I am back from my two-week stay in paradise. Still getting used to the thirteen-hour time difference, though. I took 1526 pictures, so hopefully I can flood my gallery with some of them.

It was absolutely amazing... and I brought back pocky... about 10 boxes of it, along with 3 boxes of toppo...

New Computer!

2 min read
Well folks, just got my system all up and running, finally. It will now be a bit easier to use Adobe Photoshop and just deal in general.

For those of you who actually care, here are the technical specs:

(Abridged version)
-Two dual-head graphics cards (both nVidia 7600GS's) for FOUR monitors
-120 GB hard drive
-4 GB of RAM
-Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.4 GHz

(Full Specs)
-Motherboard: ECS NF650iSLIT-A (V1.0) LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard
-Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E4600 Allendale 2.4GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
-Hard Drive: Seagate 120 GB SATA
-Memory: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ - Retail
-Graphics:
-EVGA nVidia 7600GS w/ 256 MB DDR2 VRAM
-EVGA nVidia 7600GS w/ 512 MB DDR2 VRAM
-Case: Rosewill R604-P SL 120mm Fan ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
-Power Supply: Coolermaster 400W
-Drives: DVD/CD+-RW PATA drive

I also have a Pinnacle TV Tuner card I managed to get for $8 (CHEAP!) at a hamfest, so once I get a cable line in here, I will be able to watch TV on it! Yay! (Which means that over the summer, when Spike TV shows Star Trek for four or five hours straight, I won't even have to leave my room to watch it).

Too bad Linux was being a pain, it would've been nice, but getting four monitors to work correctly in Linux would've been too much work at this point in time.

Pictures of my four-monitor setup will be soon to follow! :D
